Joining our team in 1984, Denise’s 30+ years of professional experience and training have made her one of Shear Talent’s most sought-after stylists, as well as one of the salon’s top producers.

With a zeal for learning, Denise believes that effectively delivering on a client’s requests requires staying current with industry trends and styles through certifications, continuing education, seminars, and more. Denise graduated from the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy in 1983 and remains one of the salon’s most accomplished stylists. She also specializes in gray blending, helping clients achieve a natural, seamless transition while maintaining a polished and flattering look.

Denise brings a youthful energy and enthusiasm to everything she does and enjoys expressing her creativity through hairstyling. Denise says, “I absolutely love my profession! Hairstyling is more of a passion than a career to me. I attribute much of my success to great communication with clients. It is HUGE to understand exactly what they like and want, as well as to explain what realistically can or cannot be achieved with their particular hair type.”

Denise has been married to her wonderful husband for 10 years and has two cute kitty cats at home. When she is not doing what she loves at the salon, Denise enjoys exercising, spending time with family, vacationing in Maine, attending Amplify Church, hiking, kayaking, and enjoying warm weather.
